3 little Halos adds 'Safety Town' moniker

The 3 little Halos fund was established in memory of Alex, Aubrey and Braden Butler after a 2007 fire claimed their lives far too early. Jim and Susan Butler, the trios grandparents, created the 3 little Halos Fund at the West Chester•Liberty Community Foundation to carry on their grandchildren's legacy, while providing needed tools and education to prevent another needless tragedy. Since the creation of their fund, the Butler's have provided teaching tools for the West Chester (OH) Fire Department, having raised over $100,000 to support area departments.

After much deliberation and discussions, Jim and Susan created a sister organization -- 3 little Halos Safety Town -- a project that plans to bring a real-life town, focused on youth safety education, to the West Chester community. Safety Town will include a community education center, roads, buildings, street signs, stop lights, billboards, swimming pool and other various tools to encourage the education and empowerment of youth through a in-depth curriculum. 3 little Halos Safety Town is currently in the process of acquiring the needed land -- 10+ acres -- to begin development of our community. Additionally, community support from local businesses, stakeholders and civic organizations are needed in the form of volunteers, leaders and monetary donations.
